This is a timeless technique that brings clean lines and beautiful structure to a handcrafted log home.

By joining horizontal logs into a vertical post, this method creates a crisp, architectural corner that feels intentional from every angle.

With this technique, the walls are prebuilt and then dropped into place between large diameter posts that are channeled or keyed.

Log home walls: Log homes can be built using a few different types of log walls, each offering unique aesthetics and structural benefits.

There are Full Scribe Log Walls: Logs are stacked horizontally and scribed to fit snugly together. This traditional method provides excellent insulation and a classic log home look.

And there are "Piece en piece" log walls: A traditional log home construction method that involves using vertical posts to support horizontal logs or timbers, which are fitted between the posts.
