I just got back from the movie. Wow. It was incredible and extremely well done but I cried so hard!! I wish there was more Fili in the movie. I thought his death was very true to his character but there was no more thought about him once he died which makes me sad. He was a valuable member and its like they all forgot about him.

At the end of the road I was a mess. I feel your pain!

I saw it yesterday again for the third time and, holy cow, it still is soo painful. :( My rants on Fili under the cut, if you are interested.

Fili's death has been so sudden and unexpected - I mean, I knew that he wasn't going to survive, but... yeah, I haven't imagined something like that, in that moment, in that way. Yet he stayed loyal to his family and friends till the very end: he was terrified because he knew that he was going to die, but he begged them to run for their lives. He has always tried to protect them all during all the journey and, as you said, his end was very true to his character.

But don't forget that Dwalin couldn't cope to watch him die and in fact he turned his face away; that Kili ran to battle because of his rage and sorrow; that I've never seen such pain in Thorin's face until that moment; that Bilbo couldn't literally move from his place for seconds, because he couldn't believe his friend was gone.

I agree that after that scene Fili wasn't mentioned anymore, but there was a battle to fight - sorrow would have come after it. But at the end everything was so quick that we found ourselves back in The Shire in a blink of an eye. That's why I'm praying all the Valars for something more in the EE. We need more Fili! We need more everything. 

I honestly hoped to see more of him in this last movie, but I guess it follows perfectly the previous two, being shadowed by his little brother and the side love story. I feared it, but I was prepared, it couldn't be any different. :(

In any case: the few moments we have are precious and we will never forget our brave little lion, right? :')

1. If you could live in a fictional universe, which one would you pick? Hmm. Tricky. Not Doctor Who or Marvel, because there's so many bad guys around. I really don't know, sorry!

2. If you could have a superpower what would it be? I'd like to read people's minds, but I think that'd become a burden. So, invisibility

3. What’s your favourite eye colour on a romantic partner? None! 

4. Would you rather read the book or watch the movie? Read the book. I like knowing the character's thoughts/feelings. But I don'f think films "ruin" things.

5. If you could marry any fictional character, who would it be? Oooh. Maybe Brian from "Starter for 10". I relate to him a lot. And c'mon, he's played by James McAvoy in the film version!

1. If you could live in a fictional universe, which one would you pick?

I think I would go into the Harry Potter universe. Like I am dying to do that. I also would love to go to the Pokemon world, because I think it would be amazing to be a Trainer or Coordinator.

2. If you could have a superpower what would it be?

Ooooh that is actually really tough choice... I'd have to go with teleportation, telekinesis, telepathy or flying.

3. What's your favorite eye color on a romantic partner?

Green or blue

4. Would you rather read the book or watch the movie?

I like both honestly. I really like seeing books coming to life on the big screen, although the PJO movies leave a bit to be desired.

I would marry Dean Winchester in a heartbeat if it didn't mean Cas murdering me. I would also marry Leo Valdez from PJO haha

Bare feet as much as possible.

I want song lyrics tattooed somewhere on my body. I don't know what lyrics or where, I just know.

After my shoes and socks, I take off my jacket and change into shorts

I can actually cook only one thing, which is quesadillas. I do enjoy cooking that though haha

No I don't, it bugs me to do that.

I speak sarcasm, quotes, and a little bit of French.
