Inktober day 23- Pierre Noel.

Pierre’s a self conscious mage who likes to study a lot of things. Whether it’d be about myths, magic and even the weird factoids no one else wants to know- he’s got a book for that. No one really knows why he studies all the time.

He’s supposedly Sophie’s bestie since childhood. Their history together can be summed up in a four words- quests, tests and accidents. He wants to help Sophie as much as he can. Yet, he always seems to bumble it almost every time he tries to leave his room.

Pierre scarcely leaves his room due to all the studying and he can safely guide his friend from there. 

For a long time, he’s been researching about the seven stars- wish granting orbs that supposedly can make any desire come true. It is at his insistence that Sophie pursues the stars, despite that it may not be even the quest she has to complete. Pierre wonders what will happen if he makes a wish on them...

Sorry for not posting something in while, life got a little busy ha ha.

Anyways, I wanted to contribute something positive for pride month without dealing with...people who shall remain nameless irl.

So, I drew my ocs (from left to right) Orchid, Sophie and Pierre with their respective pride flag colors (Asexual, Pansexual and Bisexual) just about to go on an adventure (sorry if the colors seem off, my scanner can be sort of sketchy when picking up certain colors and I did it all in sharpie).

Pierre is Sophie’s friend and employer, mostly pays her to get info and gather items since he can’t leave home; he’s Matilda’s son. He is a bit of a worry wort, often trying to help Sophie when she gets lost; it ends up blowing up on his face 49% of the time. He’s currently studying about myths and legends of the seven stars, which leads to him being able to recreate mini versions of creatures in said legends; like those flying eyeballs.

It’s been a while I drew him, so it was nice :3

So, I doodled Pierre talking about facts that would quite frankly startle some people and his mom, Matilda; is trying to get him to stop.

So, basically; Sophie works for Pierre as his eyes and ears. However, she can’t help but try and save peeps from danger.

: 1 Which is fine but then this happens, oh no; they’re cute and then she literally forgets where she is supposed to be going and gets lost.

This also happened when Sophie has to save Pierre from dummies.

When you get hit with inspiration for more characters and then proceed to write a brief backstory and then this happens.

This is Meashim, Sophie’s adoptive care giver; they live in a small temple in the slums with their fellow followers of the void. They raised Sophie since she was three after a fire took one of her parents away and the other one left because they were a dick.

Pierre is weary, mostly because Meashim like most void walkers, disagrees how mystics view the lord of the void. So, the first comic sort of touches on that and how Meashim is somewhat (overly protective) of their precious child.
