hey, i just read your thing you write about the daycare worker at the end of the world and it literally made me cry physical tears. (i don’t know how to say this in a way that doesn’t sound like typical internet hyperbole, but i actually cried.) your writing articulated some feelings that i think are present in a lot of hearts and minds right now with everything going on, and i just wanted to say thank you.

i fucking openly sobbed writing most of it, honestly, like I’m not joking, I had to wash my face and blow my nose when I finished the story because I was a mess. thank you so much for reaching out, and I’m glad this story found it’s way to you.

i’ve been using a hamper like this for years:

i keep the lid open & draped down the back most of the time & close it over when I have company, it’s a good arrangement!  (£10 from Argos for UK people)

hi, I'm aroace and I want to make alloaros feel welcome on my blog and in general. i have a catchall aro and ace tag because for me those parts of my identity are not separate (aro ace space), but do you think it would it be more respectful to come up with new tags?

Well, while I’m slowly drifting towards “non-sam aro”, I’m still aroace, so you probably want to actually ask alloromantic aros for that!

Now, the allo aro blogs I follow do have expressed a preference for more tags, for an example, if you talk about your specific experience as an aroace (and not just the aro part), tag the post with “aroace” along with “aro”. That way, allo aros who don’t want to see ace content have the choice to avoid it in the aro tag. 

Don’t misunderstand of course, aroace stuff does belong in the aro tag, but allo aros and non-sam aros may want to see “only-aro” stuff ^^ Allo aros tag their posts on the matter as “allo aro” so overall it’s probably just good practice to do the same :)

there is nothing on this earth as wholesome as love and luck, but I think you’d like Modern Fae, which in addition to many lovely canonically queer characters and budding romances, has got magical realism there right on the tin. the acting isn’t always my favorite but the music is the SLAP.

You might also like Superstition, which is KILLER. Friendship Shenanigans, mysterious little towns, and the last episode had a line in it that i can’t stop thinking about, which was like:
