Somewhere in the West
Continuing my month long series of posts with images made in New Mexico with the Great Divide as my focus or jumping off point: three images from Pie Town, New Mexico.
This "town" sits squarely on the Great Divide itself (well, it's actually just a bit off to the west, but by less than a mile). I have a couple images of visual attractions here, and one can indeed get a piece of pie. Word to the wise though: I liked the quiche in Hillsboro MUCH more than the one establishment (of two) that I patronized here, I'm sorry to say.
The person who collects windmills seen above also made his political views known, as one can see in this additional image.
Three images by Richard Koenig; taken April 5th 2026.
