i have strep throat too. i didn't understand how painful it is until i actually got it. omg. is it this way for you, too?: swallowing is the most painful experience in the world, yet, every 2 seconds you feel the need to swallow, so you do it? it gets worse at night too ;_;

YES. Oh my gosh it's awful. Every time I swallow it's like someone is shoving a knife into my throat and twisting it. My throat keeps me up at night even though all I want to do is sleep. Everything hurts but swallowing is definitely the worst. D: Hopefully you'll feel better soon!
