After pregnancy complications, many vet visits and testing, and a lot of anticipation and anxiety…. we feel confident enough to finally announce the delivery of two healthy piggie babies who were born last week.

Since they are both doing well, we figured it’d be fun to share the family photos. Mama is doing amazing and both babies are growing well each and every day.

There's something incredibly special about earning the trust of a prey animal. Guinea pigs are born believing the world is dangerous, so they don't hand out trust easily. Every nap on my lap, every happy FRUGHGHRRRRRR, every moment they choose to stay with you instead of running is a quiet way of saying, "I know I'm safe with you."
