It comes out of nowhere on a sunny day, while clouds like puffy balls of white cotton much like the pillows Credence often uses to remove old nail varnish, were floating in the crystal clear blue sky. Newt says it so matter of factly that the tail end of his sentence is drowned out by the thundering beat of Credence’s heart. 

 "Graves is throwing a party on Memorial day weekend. Some say it might last all three days. His parties usually do extend past one night." 

 Nothing else Newt says matters after those words. After that one name. Gellert echoes the confusion rattling through Credence’s rapidly firing and verging on short circuiting brain. 

"Graves? What Graves?"
