Do you ever wish Guzma's backstory was told more in the games / anime? Like him and his parents relationship? Plus, he and Kukui as well!
There sure was a lot of potential for interesting stories/concepts about his past to be explored. I sure was hoping for a bit more insight into his backstory in the anime, but kinda knew we probably wouldn’t get much. But in the end, I was still happy with the overall character-arc he got! There’s always two sides of more lore to a character:On the one hand, you really wanna know if there is truth to the theories and headcanons you might’ve developed about this character over time ~ but on the other hand, you’re given far more freedom as a creator with the limited information and implications without having to worry about contradicting canon with your take on the story.
I still would’ve loved to see more of Kukuis and Guzmas rivalry as kids, especially since there wAS an episode with kid-Kukui (such a missed opportunity aaaaaaa), but in the end, Im glad he even got any attention and a happy ending in almost every medium he was in, even the official manga.
