Almost forgotten memories....
In his dreams, it was like he had never been caught. He was still a Pichu, small, energetic, as well as a bit clumsy because of how big his head was compaired to his body. He remembers his fellow littermate, another Pichu who hatched just a few minutes after him. That was his brother. They practically looked the same, same color fur, same color eyes, same size, it was almost impossible to tell each other apart. Yet, they were inseparable. They would leave their nest and go play outside while the other Pikachu in the colony watched over them. There were no Raichu. He had heard the other Pikachu look for something called a “thunderstone” so they would be able to evolve. Yet the colony never found the stone...
He remembers cuddling up to his mother and father in their nest as his brother nesstled beside him. There was no way this family would ever be apart...
A human dressed in all black was walking around the forest, disrupting the peace of the colony. The Pichu were just play fighting outside their home when they saw the others run by in a panic. He remembers wanting to check it out and defeat whatever they were running from, and his brother agrees, wanting a real battle besides the play ones they do in front of their den.
The two Pichu stop in front of a scary looking human and another Pokemon that almost looked like a Pikachu, but was all orange. The orange Pikachu had defeated one of the strongest Pikachu in their clan and caught it usung this red and white ball thing. Out of rage of the loss of his friend, the Pichu fires a large bolt of electricity at the person. Of course, that only made the human angry and try to attack them. The brothers hug each other for comfort. With as much power as that orange Pokemon had, it would be enough to make them faint or worse! It shoots out a very large bolt of thunder to the boys as they wait for their demise.
However, two Pikachu block the hit from them. Their mother and father. The parents try to say something to their children before they are taken into that red and white ball too. The brothers were filled with rage now as they both hit the orange Pokemon out of anger with their most powerful move, making the Pokemon faint. Because of their rage, the two brothers managed to evolve into Pikachu. They were confused no doubt, but they had to get to the man in the black running away. However, a Pokeball caught one Pikachu. He had no idea his brother was caught and kept running. The person who caught the Pikachu was an old man in a labcoat. He was going to keep this Pikachu safe from Team Rocket. He knew that grunt was going to tell his boss of the Pichu who evolved from pure anger than with friendship like other Pikachu did. He then would give it to a young boy from Pallet Town as his starter.
The other brother however, despised humans and wanted to make them pay for what they did to his brother and parents. He would steal food from them and generally make their lives a living hell. That was...until that boy in the red hat had captured him. He didn’t like him at all. He kept calling him “Pika” and keeping him in that same ball his family was caught in. But...over time he noticed how kind the boy was. Humans weren’t that bad after all. But...he still wonders what happened to his little brother...
