ok, so I know everyone probably talked about this back when the movie came out, I guess just some magical force kept me from actually seeing the shit but WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME THAT PIKACHU TALKED IN THAT MOVIE!!!! I SAW A CLIP AFTER I SAW A POST ON TUMBLR FOR THE FIRST TIME AND WAS LIKE WTF???? LIKE WHAT THE F I DONT UNDERSTAND, DID HE LEARN TO TALK FROM THE YEARS OF BEING AROUD ASH FOR ALL THOUSE YEARS DOES THAT MEAN ANY POKEMON THAT ISN'T PSYCHIC OR FILLED WITH THE DETERMINATION TO IMPRESS A GIRL CAN LEARN HOW TO SPEAK IF THEY ARE AROUND HUMANS AND NEVER GO INTO THE POKEBALL OR DID ASH KNOW??? I HAVE MANY QUESTIONS.

also at the very beginning of pokemon series pikachu just wanted no part of sitting in a pokeball it's just that Ash never put him in the ball.

it could be that pikachu spent a long time in the pokeball before he ever met Ash.
