well. this was sudden, but not entirely unexpected.

the mime looked very surprised for a moment, with his eyebrows(?) raised and his hands up in that ‘i dont have any weapons’ sort of way.

that surprise quickly changed into mild amusement, though. one of his usual dumb smirks appeared on his face and he crouched a little, putting his hands on his knees. he didn’t know what this rat wanted with him, but mime’s body language had ‘do it, i dare you’ written all over him.

WAS THAT REALLY his idol that he just saw..? Should he say something? Should he stay quiet? He didn’t know - fear bundled up inside him. He didn’t want to be seen as an annoyance or someone who only got in the way. Which.. he really was, now that he had thought about it. He was pretty weak. Either way, his tail started wagging upon seeing the detective. Maybe.. maybe he would stay quiet. He’d stay there, just munching away on his apple, as a nervous wreck.
