BGSU discipline report finds “deep culture of deception” at fraternity

Documents from the investigation shed further light on the university’s findings.

Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity members had the new members wear blindfolds and led them into a basement area while being yelled at and pushed in an effort to disorient them. New members were instructed multiple times prior to the event on March 4 that they would need to inform faculty members of their likely absence from classes on March 5.

Pi Kappa Alpha - They are known for being smart here on our campus. Their fraternity was founded March 1, 1868. The colors for the fraternity are Garnet and Old Gold, their flower is the Lily of the Valley.

The motto for them is “Once a Pike, always a Pike”.
