Meet the Pikmin

Pink Winged Pikmin are the last Pikmin type. They were in the game's original E3 trailer, but not officially shown until later.

Winged Pikmin are just what they seem to be. Pink Pikmin that can fly. Because they only appear in one game, there really isn't a lot of information about them, even less than Rocks. Pink Pikmin are the fourth type you find in PIkmin 3.

Pink Pikmin are constantly in flight, so they can travel over water and other obstacles. They also home in on enemies when thrown, meaning they cannot instantly kill dwarf bulborbs or sheargrubs, but they can chase after spectrailds and are necessary to defeat scornets.

Pink Pikmin will carry things from the top, allowing extra pikmin to carry it from the bottom as well. However, if there are enough Pinks to carry something back, they'll lift it up and others will fall. This CAN cause pikmin to fall into water and drown. Pink Pikmin also have the lowest attack strength as other Pikmin, so they're better just for solving puzzles, such as lifting Bamboo Gates.

Like Rock Pikmin, Pink Pikmin do not play in Strawberry Flower, nor have they yet been shown in Super Smash Bros 4.
