I'm worried about my plant. It seems to move really slowly, but that can't be right. I thought plants were supposed to run.

Plants have been known to run, but only when fresh strawberries are being offered. That plant looks pretty firm on the top. If you make visual contact with this plant during landing configuration, you should initiate a go-around and ask tower to clear the runway. I once witnessed a Boeing 737 collide with a Galapagos giant plant on a runway. The plant just kept walking. The 737 disintegrated on impact. I hope this helps.

Am I qualified to fly an airplane because I’m married to a pilot?

Good question! The answer is: sometimes. In my experience, most two- and four-engine birds should be left for experts only. But single- and three-engine birds are child’s play. Practically fly themselves. Most modern ones have buttons for take off and landing, and nothing bad ever happens above ten thousand feet. 😎
