Fanart for an Indie project I'm very intrigued by

Series concept:

An angsty young girl feels stuck and bored to death in her monotonous life. She lives in the middle of nowhere in a town that is only home to -at most- one or two hundred people. She knows everyone by name. She works at the hardware store. She rides her bike everywhere because she has no need for a car and no money to buy one. She desperately wants to hightail it out of town and do something, anything, with her life besides this, but is stuck taking care of her now-old father, who has fallen into alcoholism and neglect of her needs in his retirement.

Meanwhile, the ‘population’ counter on the sign with fading paint marking the entrance to the town ticks downwards by the day as people leave. Get out. Escape the monotony. Move on.

The youth- or, whatever is left of them, as they begin to leave the fading place- run the town. They break into abandoned buildings for fun. They play baseball in the fields surrounding town. They shoot paintball guns at old cars rotting in the same fields. They have infinite time, suspended in the lull and quiet of the dying town.

However, despite their infinite freedom, the back of their minds are governed by the same urban legend, the same unbreakable rule that each of their parents gave them each time they left the house: Whatever you do, do not go into the woods.

The girl, during the fallout of a fight with her father, snaps. She shoves her few essential belongings into her worn rucksack and bids her home- more specifically, her childhood bedroom- goodbye. She grabs her bike off the rack and starts pedaling. To where, she doesn’t know. It isn’t until the typical dusty dirt road she travels on each day becomes knotted and rocky does she realizes where her bike has taken her- the edge of the woods, that forbidden place where she was never supposed to go.

She thinks about going back, turning around. But only for a moment.

Then she takes a breath, and pushes further into the woods. Tells herself it’s fine. But she keeps getting the feeling as she presses deeper into the woods that something is terribly wrong, that she’s not alone, that she’s being watched.

Little did she know, whatever was in the woods was worth all the warnings of the townspeople- and then some.

GAAAAAAH! I found the OLDEST designs I made of the characters in my pilot concept. My gosh, they look ugly compared to now.

Not what they will actually look like once I'm finished. IF I actually do it though.

Some old notebook drawings I made back in the 9th and 10th grades, not all of them though.

Also, the last one was made as a way to experiment with making and printing out pins/keychains for me and my best friend, but I never finished it.

The character with long hair is called Wilhelm BTW. He's a pretty chill character.

Yeaaah... I'm gonna redesign ALL of the characters. Because all of them kinda look bad/ugly.

This was back when I used an old artstyle I used to have. I kinda changed a lot of that.

I made these back when I was still practicing drawing and art. So PLEASE don't judge me because of that.

Guess who started a concept for her own pilot conceeeeeept~

Yup, that's right.; ME!.

I have a concept in my mind that I've had for YEARS now. And I wanna make it into a pilot.

I made the first drafts of the story and the pilot's entire concept. Not sure if I'm gonna post anything yet. Nothing's confirmed so far.

But I have the entire structure of the pilot made. I just need to gather up more people, and voice actors, and maybe some more animators too.

I'm sure some of my friends would love to voice act, as my best friend literally said to me, so many times, that she would wanna be in a movie or a show.
