Pilot of Time AU - Sergant Havoc
It had been awhile since the New Republic formed and Omega was still under the leadership of her great friend, Hera Syndulla.
Since there was an excess of pilots from the rebellion who wanted to continue piloting for the newly formed republic a brand new agency was formed: The New Republic Pilot Commission ( NRPC ). There contained several sectors from : air traffic, transportation, defensive line, freelance, and diplomatic. Omega’s division was in the diplomatic sector. And for her, she was the only permanent member as she was the most trusted to do so. She still even reported directly to Hera, her old general. But what did Omega do in this division? Survey work, heritage safe havens, humanitarian work, animal saving? Well, let’s just say it was a mix. For she had made the holodrive.
When Omega met Luke Skywalker towards the end of the Galatic Civil War they became fast friends as they had many things in common. Both wanted to do far greater than their intial lives but aswell spread their kindness, their hope to others. But, due Luke’s knowledge of the force becoming very vast he sensed Omega’s force sensitivity. Very quickly; although Omega had no actual idea if she was she knew at one point in her lifetime it was highly speculated that she was. Luke informed her and there so trained her in lightsaber dueling just to make her battle prowess bigger aswell as her connection to the Jedi. And one day after her expedition to Illum to get few remaining kyber crystals, something weird happened. A kyber crystal mixed into her hyperdrive and was stranded back in time.
She tried to get the crystal out with several tools laying around but nothing could. So she did what Luke told her to do, use the force. Omega used it and low and behold she had created something entirely new. It looked like a translucent solid cyan blob attached to mini hyperdrive of sorts. Omega was estastic, confused, and knowing her, she figured everything out on her own. She named it the holodrive so nobody suspected anything ( even though she barely used it). And once everything after the war in the New Republic was established she told Hera and was immediately given her own division.
“ Sergeant Omega Havoc of Kamino and Pabu I task you with fixing and experimenting things. And survey work plus extra crud.”
“ Sounds uh good sir. This is totally not gonna mess up comm schedule with Hunter.”
And now our faithful Sergeant has been tasked with something thought previously impossible : exploration + fixing of timelines!
