i've seen the show a million times but every time i do a rewatch and blair's mother isn't margaret colin in the first episode i panic. margaret supremacy always. her eleanor is just so poised and wonderful

lollll, the first actress was graceful and beautiful and i’m sure would have done a great job if she’d stuck around, but eleanor is definitely margaret’s character. eleanor in general has such different vibes in 1x01, it’s funny.
