“Can I tell you a secret?”
Steve, @beckybxrnes & @pilotproctor aesthetic
Finding a bed big enough for the three of them was a mission in itself, not only because Steve was tall and built like a truck. There was also a matter of how they slept, and none were thrilled about the prospect of waking up on the floor, kicked off by their bedmates. Toss in the need to find a mattress that suited all their tastes, and that made for a day long try-and-test at various stores across nearly the entire state. Too hard, too soft, not big enough. Every time they got an amused, if confused, look from the sales assistants who really were trying their best to make a sale.
But then they found it. The perfect bed, which fit them all perfectly in taste, and a mattress that they all dropped on to with satisfied sighs. It was decided, unanimously, that this was the one.
The bed fit perfectly, becoming a regular location for morning cuddles and coffee. On the colder nights, Steve would position himself closer to the window as a barrier to the cold, an arm draped over both of his loves to offer some warmth.
Would you write a ship with another Matt?
/OOC: While I’m going to say “never say never,” it would be very unlikely that I’d write with another Proctor blog. pilotproctor and I have spoken at so much length about the relationship between Becky & her husband, and Matt was created from a foundation of headcanons I’d had & then taken to so many levels higher by Mel. While I doubt it’ll ever be an issue since I don’t expect to run into another Proctor blog, it’d be hard to connect on the same level that Mel & I have. We’ve created so many levels & plots that we haven’t even gotten around to putting on the dash yet, and Becky is totally devoted to Matthew Cornelius Proctor.

-accidental butt dial while talking about him- “Oh.... you should see the way he smiles! I feel like I go to straight jell-o. And he married me. I’m just about the luckiest girl in the world. I think I’ll love him to the day I die, and probably long after that t– oh! My phone was on.” -now the voice is clearer and directed to the phone- “When I see you when I get home, you better not hold all of that mushy stuff against me, Proctor. But I do love you. To the moon and back. See you when I get home.”
