Otabek is Skyping with JJ and he's been drinking since it's late in Kazakhstan and pretty early in Canada. So Otabek is still crushing hard on Yuri and he gets a little whiny while he's drunk and he's slurring his words and all of a sudden he's like, "JJ, no. You don't understand. He's so sexy... He's Plisexy." And JJ just can't. He physically cannot with this idiot. He starts laughing his ass off and he holds it over Otabek's head for 2-3 years and when they all start dating, JJ's nickname for Yuri is "Plisexy" and Yuri fucking hates it until he finds out where it came from. Like all this time, he thinks this is all some practical joke from JJ until the Canadian is wheezing out the story of Otabek's drunken blunder and poor Beka is blushing his ass off.

That feeling when you're high from reading fanfic and looking at fan art of your favorite OTP's and your face just hurts so much from smiling and you never smile like this or feel that much joy and you should be sleeping but you don't want to lose this feeling cause real life just doesn't feel as good as this does and you remember that so you think about stopping because it's gonna really suck when you have to cope with reality again and aaaarrrgghhh

1. End of Broadcast by LanternJawedStudmuffin  || Rated M, 9.5k (WIP)

When every moment of your life is caught on camera, it's hard to catch a moment alone to get to know your new husband.

2. Remember the Milk by Halrloprillalar (prillalar) || Rated T, 2.9k

JJ is a mild-mannered Canadian Tire employee by day and a superhero by night, trying to juggle an arch nemesis and a room mate who always uses up the milk.

Comment: Okay, okay. So like, I don’t really ship JJ/Yuri, but this is fucking hilarious. JJ is hero but he’s also a dense idiot and Yuri is hilarious and this is just. It’s so goddamn funny. It’s less than 3k guys, try it oh my god. 

3. Into You by JMonCheri || Rated T, 6.6k

Viktor wanted nothing more than to show off how much he loved Yuuri Katsuki.

But no matter how famous, popular, or wealthy he got, he couldn't have that.

He could have everything but that.

Comment: Yoooo a concise secret relationship oneshot that fits in all the essentials and kinda leaves you wanting for more. Falls a bit flat at times, but does wonderfully most of the time. Entertaining, a touch sad, but nothing that’ll hurt you. 

4. faking in secret by DefiantDreams || Rated T, 3.8k (WIP)

It gets kind of difficult when you’re simultaneously fake dating and dating in secret at the same time.

Yuuri and Viktor make it work—until they don’t.

Comment: The summary sounds ridiculous. So does the premise. It’s ridiculously fun. Victor and Yuuri are dorks and extremely relatable as college students that want free food deals. The bonus Victor’s POV and pining makes it even better. Super super recommend, heck.

Pilroy vs Otayuri

The reason I personally prefer Otabek x Yuri and not JJ x Yuri is that JJ would only inflate Yuri's ego further. That boy does not need anymore antagonising, he is so young and thinks he knows everything when he doesn't, he needs some,one to guide him into adulthood and JJ won't do that. JJ is still a kid himself. I have nothing against this ship (ship what you want to), but I personally feel this pair are just really bad for each other, but I see similarities in their characteristics and can understand why people do ship them. Whereas Otabek takes the time to let Yuri grow, he's prepared to be there for the boy he idolised when he was younger. He's in awe of him and has so much respect for him. They have so much potential together sand I want to see more of Otayuri. I want to see them grow together. Yuri is always so positive to Otabek, he smiles! Yuri Plisetsky smiled for someone and meant it, someone other his adoptive family (Victor and Yuuri) or his idol (Yuuri). And he's prepared to openly support him, something he doesn't really do for the other skaters. This is just scratching the surface of my analysis and these are just my own opinions about it.
