THE RACING CHANGE FOUNDATION ROAD RACE: For my second race this weekend I travelled south to the pimbo industrial estate for this race. It is a pan flat course for the 40 miles and the pace was super high from the off. With a big field it was relatively easy to sit in the bunch however my legs were sore from Saturdays effort. I decided today to sit in the whole race and wait for the end sprint as my coach's team-mate agreed to lead me out. The pace on to the last lap was rapid as it was ending in a mass bunch sprint. I got into a good position early but then coming round the final corner I got swamped from riders on my right hand side. I finished in the first bunch of riders across the line and therefore I won the junior classification for the race. Key stats: Distance: 68km Time: 1hr 33 mins Avg speed: 43.6 kmph Result: 1st junior (24th overall)
