I’m honestly not sure. I think it was the male that was gray tho so he’s probably the one bangin’ everyone still.

I wish they would spay more of their barn cats instead of just having us try and tame them either way. :V

I read The Adventure Zone graphic novel (gifted to me by my lovely friends/DnD companions @pinalinet and @missmelmels) and I am blown away!! It focuses and polishes the Here There Be Gerblins arc brilliantly, capturing the humor and energy of the podcast while shaving off some of the first episodes' rougher edges (when the McElroys were still feeling out the characters' personalities). Also it's one of the prettiest graphic novels I now own, with fantastic character design, acting, colors and layouts. Carey Pietsch knocked it out of the park. Everyone who is a fan of the podcast should pick it up, and to all those of you who have seen me gushing over the podcast but have trouble getting into podcasts--this is the perfect chance to start the story in a visually friendly way. To quote Pat Rothfuss's introduction, "(The McElroys have) made something magical, and loving, and kind, and beautiful. The world is better because this story is in it." I'm so glad that through this graphic novel (series!!!!), more people will have the chance to enjoy that story with me.

I... watched both yesterday (new and original) and... I liked the new one better. I'm shocked but I genuinely think it was a better movie. A lot of it boils down to "personal taste" and I never watched the original as a kid but doesn't that just mean my tastes aren't being clouded by nostalgia? Isn't that a good thing? idk

That's the thing! This new movie isn't perfect but it isn't desecrating some infallible holy relic. People get nostalgia goggles because Ghostbusters came out when blockbusters were still relatively new and that level of spectacle in a comedy was definitely fresh (and I do really love those puppets) but it's flawed too! Bill Murray gets all the good lines, the regular people keeping the Ghostbusters down are just frustratingly, unbelievably unreasonable, and there was already a very mediocre follow up movie. But somehow it became a sacred cow of 80s childhood.
