I really want to attend medical school with an ultimate goal of becoming a pediatric surgeon, I am currently in a dual admission program at my community college with Temple University. Any advice?
Ah, a tricky question, pinapplekush!
Choose the college that suits YOU best is what matters. If your undergraduate experience is miserable, you will be burnt out and disheartened; medical school will be the last thing on your mind!
Another thing to consider is: which school offers a broad range of experiences? To be a good physician, to really understand what you, others, and patients are going through, you have to know how walk in another person's shoes. Broaden your world-view, increase your experiences, expand your empathy. You can do that by experiencing as much as possible! And I don't mean only science! Take humanities courses, join clubs, just...have the choices! It sounds overwhelming, but it's always nice to know that you have the options and not the limitations.
I hope that helps a bit, and best of luck to you!
