Maybe I’ll list a few rp peeves in the place of the answer for this one because I don’t think I’ve really seen any trends? 

The misnaming in all honesty, Hanzo = Handsoap? As an Asian whose name is constantly ridiculed and mocked, it’s a strife I’ve lived with all my life in America. I thought we as a community are “woke” (not my term to use) and aware of how damaging that is to Asians who already get overlooked unless it’s a fetishization of something from our culture. I get that people think it’s funny, but I hope this would be a wake up call to those of you that use it that it’s really fucking not.

They’d reached an impasse, and honestly it took longer than Jesse had thought it would.

Being a world wide bounty hunter meant you met all sorts, and more often than you’d expect, you ran into other hunters going after the same target as you. The man was a nobody, really. He had a pitifully small bounty on his head. If it had been any other hunter, Jesse probably would have tipped his hat and been on his way, no fuss.

It wasn’t just anyone, though. It was Hanzo Shimada. Upon recognizing the man, Jesse was filled with a sudden fury, forcing him to forget all about the actual target and focus his efforts on taking the assassin down. There’d been a brief scuffle where Hanzo had, unfortunately, come out on top and gotten away. Jesse, being the stubborn man he was, gave chase.

Now they stood across from each other on a rooftop in a no-name town, weapons at the ready. “I ain’t known for takin’ the easy way out.” McCree called back, his accent thicker than normal as he worked to hold back his anger. “You don’t even know why I’m after ya, do you?”

There was a heavy silence as Jesse forced himself to breath, to keep from rushing into this and dying without accomplishing anything. “I’m here for Genji.” He said as evenly as he could. “I’m here to make you pay for what you did to him.” It didn’t cross his mind to mention how angry Genji had been, to mention that the younger brother had gone off in search of peace because he couldn’t handle his past. None of those details mattered right now, and Hanzo didn’t deserve to know those details. “I’ll walk away once he’s gotten justice.”

Whatever reaction McCree expected in response to such a threateningly vindictive statement, it likely wasn’t one as apparently unaffected as the one he got. Hanzo, bow readied and drawn back, only seemed to continue staring the other man down with that same frigid, venomous glare he had been since the encounter turned into a confrontation, with the only visible change being the subtlest upward tilt of his chin.

Ever since he had earlier caught sight of the other individual prowling the empty streets of the small town, Hanzo had kept an unyielding close eye on him. Between the proximity to Hanzo’s own mark and the weapon on the other man’s hip, there had been little room for doubt that this was a fellow bounty hunter; Hanzo had not survived for as long as he had trusting the decency of those in such a line of duty–particularly ones that had amassed their own $60,000,000 bounties–and hadn’t been about to start then. It had been fortunate for him that such leery instincts had proven useful to avoid getting caught off guard initially, but when the two armed opponents had an equal chance to react to each other as they did now... well, this time the solution was going to be a bit more complicated.

“... Hm,” an audibly curious yet none too pleased-sounding exhale escaped Hanzo’s lips, his eyes narrowing as he continued to return the gunman’s hostile look. For the briefest of moments, his gaze darted downward to examine the distance of roofing between them before returning to those other pair of spiteful eyes, his brow furrowing as he did so.

“... How interesting,” Hanzo finally replied, his tone as coldly antagonistic as his decidedly derisive choice of words. As he spoke, Hanzo slowly placed one foot behind himself, his heel on the edge of the roof itself. “And does your employer want their name known, or shall my only hint be that they are someone to schedule their assassinations severely late?”

I only fell in love with it because of @pinchevaquerx and @infiltrationiisms are such FANTASTIC writers, definitely would recommend them as partners. It’s just… So freakin’ cute and I get butterflies in my stomach and I just want them BOTH to be happy!

A ship in your fandom that you dislike (that does not include your muse)?

Gen/cy. I can’t see it romantically in the slightest, only platonic. It gives off weird vibes, and the fans are also a little… Obsessive, for lack of a better word. Like you say you don’t like it and they’ll JUMP on you like a pack of wild dogs. That’s my biggest quip against it, the fans.
