Atarashii Gakko no Leader are a Girlgroup from Japan. In their songs they tackle societies norms, which makes them really special in the landscape of idolgroups. And they consist of four members. Suzuka, Mizyu, RIn and Kanon.

My introduction to them was through a song called "Koi Geba!". I remember that song as being dark, something that I didn't expect from a girlgroup before. It hooked me , I looked into their other discographies and became a fan. Especially Pinapple Kryptonite became one of my favorite song of theirs. I think it also was the opening songs for their concert, where they had this outstandig performance. I remember it being all over TikTok and I thought "Why shouldn't I try and illustrate this?"

What I like the most about them is their bravery. That they allow themselves to be authentic and of course, their music.

And that's how this image came to be. I struggled a bit with the hands, and with the folds. But I think the outcome of this image isn't that bad!
