How Hufflepuffs feel about each of the houses?
Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs get on pretty great, as we see in the books and as stated in the Hufflepuff welcome letter on Pottermore. We tend to support Gryffindors in their endeavors and be behind them in all the things they want to try, while kind of being that voice of reason when Gryffindors get in over their heads or start coming up with too many ideas. We sometimes just step back and let the shit fly because we can’t always be the momma to our Gryffinbabies. We also sometimes think they can be flashy, but it doesn’t usually bother us.
Hufflepuffs love their Ravenclaw buddies. We love to bounce creative ideas off of each other and Ravenclaws often give us that spark to put our hard work to use. We love to share obsessions, no matter what they are. We sometimes think that they can be know-it-alls, but we love listening to them talk about their interests. Ravenclaws can also get really into their passions and disappear from everything, which can make us feel left out.
Don’t tell them, but we love our Slytherbuddies and look up to them. We can work hard to do well on the things we want to try, but Slytherins have the ambition to become something really great. Ambition and hard work go hand in hand, and we sometimes wish we had what they have. We’re also both loyal and will team up to protect our friends, but will also turn against people who wrong one or the other. Sometimes, though, Slytherins can be overbearing and there are the Slytherins who will take advantage of us. We try to avoid them but it can make us wary of all snakes.
Hufflepuffs are kinda our favorites. We are loyal to each other and even if we fall out of touch, will still be close. It's sometimes hard to get things done because 'Puffs tend to be followers more than leaders, but we're willing to step up when needed. Meeting new Hufflepuffs is the most awesome thing and we tend to start viewing each other as family immediately.
