This may be the best comment I’ve gotten from one of my scripts, but for a more personal reason. This is for a contemporary romance script, which is something I’ve never written before and I was nervous to do it. I write fantasy, so going outside of my comfort zone was interesting. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to realistically write, well, realistic love and that kind of scared me. I’ve thought about it before and I was worried I couldn’t write something that felt real because I’ve never felt it. But then I saw this comment and I got a little emotional. I may or may not continue to write this kind of script, but it’s not out of the question.
