“Roman Prince does not get crushes!” Roman yelled at Logan. He was pacing his bedroom, muttering and occasionally shouting things at his best friend.
“Ro, has it occurred to you that you might not have any control over that?” Logan said calmly, crossing his arms.
“Of course I have control in who I fall in love with! Why wouldn’t I?!” Roman asked angrily.
“Please calm down or I will be forced to call Virgil.”
“Ugh, don’t call that dreadful cousin of mine!” Roman exclaimed, stopping his pacing. “He won’t do anything to help me besides laugh!”
“For all you know he might like someone as well.” Logan stated calmly.
“Like who? You?” Roman said, almost laughing at his friend. “Oh boy, Calculator Watch! You are hilarious!”
Logan blushed. “You know that’s not what I meant!” He adjusted his glasses. “All I’m saying is he might help you calm down.”
“I am calm, thank you very much!” Roman said loudly. Logan looked at him skeptically. “Okay, fine I’m not calm. But you don’t get to make fun of me for it!”
“I’m doing nothing of the sort,” stated Logan, pushing his glasses up higher on his nose. “Would you look at the time, I need to go before Patton gets worried.” At the mention of Patton, Roman stiffened, blushing. “Aha! It seems you do have a crush on Pat!”
“Shut up, Microsoft Nerd!” Roman shouted, annoyed. He didn’t liked to be made fun of. “You said you had to be going, now go!”
“Bye asshole!” Roman called affectionately. “Wait! You have to swear on your copy of The Murder Of Roger Ackroyd that you won’t tell Patton!”
“Fine, I swear on my copy of The Murder Of Roger Ackroyd that I won’t tell Patton.” Roman nodded, satisfied. “Can I go now?”
“Yup!” As Logan left, Roman decided to play his guitar, strumming the chords to ‘Love Like You’ from Steven Universe.
