My mom has been a biology teacher for over 30 years.
I got reminded of that when I saw a pineapple at the grocery store that was pink on the inside and my mom responded in her most matter of fact, teacher-like voice:
“Yeah, that’s what happens when produce is selectively bred to get desirable traits like that.”
And then went along like...not even remotely impressed. Look at this!
This looks aesthetic af! How can you see this the first time and not be even a little shook!?
