Kyoshi was upset. She had seen the move been performed a thousand times, having invented it herself, and never had she seen it be so butchered then by the acrobat. The other warriors were encouraging her, but the move evaded Ty Lee. Finally kyoshi could not stand it anymore. She contacted Suki through a dream and demanded that the newest member meet her at Kyoshi's temple.

Ty Lee was practicing flips, when she noticed a strange girl approach. Like her, this girl was clad, from head to toe, in pink fabric. She grinned excitedly. "Hi, I'm Ty Lee! Who are you?" She tilted her head to the side, studying the stranger. The acrobat furrowed her brow slightly. There was something familiar about her, but the child couldn't figure out what it was.
