1. The worst secondhand embarrassment you’ve ever experienced in person?

Watching someone crash in a public speaking environment. That is literally the worst.

2. Say you’re a demigod. Which god/goddess from any mythology, had you the choice, would be your parent?

Prometheus.

3. Which fictional character do you identify with the most?

I could try to be all badass with this one, but if I’m being honest, I’d say Arthur Dent. My life is governed by varying levels of improbability.

4. Win a bet, receive a million dollars, but you can only spend it at one store. Where do you go?

This sounds dull as hell, but Lowe's or Home Depot or similar home repair place. I have a 19th century house that has been gradually getting fixed up/restored. It's a bigger pain in the ass than you can imagine, but I will never live somewhere new. My next house will be old and decrepit as well.

5. Best riddle you ever heard?

You know that one about the chicken crossing the road to get to the other side is about it wanting to commit suicide.

6. Most interesting event that’s happened to you this week?

My husband asked if he could read my fanfiction. What?

7. What topic could you talk about for hours?

Hard one to narrow down, since my job is basically talking about stuff for hours, but I’d say conspiracy theories. I don't believe in many (if any) but I kind of mentally collect them and if you want to know something about weird conspiracies, I'm your person.

8. Your top five favorite (real) places?

Gloucester MA, my little house, London, Amsterdam, NYC.

9. Your top five favorite fictional places?

Inside the TARDIS, Narnia, Tralfamadore, Middle Earth, Hogwarts.
