PERFECT STRANGERS

07.06-08.06.14.

Day 1 - Day 2 - Pinkpop festival 2014, Landgraaf, the Netherlands

There are so many nice people here. So friendly and so polite. We sometimes lack these characteristics, but they are the most important ones. A smile or a question 'Are you okay?' can do so much to a person's life (or day). Dutch people seem to know it. I haven't seen more positive people anywhere. Walking through the crowds, watching a concert I see so many perfect strangers. They ask you how are you doing and they lift you up unexpectedly at your favourite band's concert without a word spoken, just because they see how much you've been enjoying the Rolling Stones playing. They stop the flow of people to let you pass and they offer a helping hand (or a glass of water, in this case) for when you've been standing and waiting for Ed Sheeran by the stage for 2 hours in the fiery sun. Perfect strangers. But then you get to know them and they are not perfect  and they are not strangers anymore. And that is the best thing about them.
