It’s been a long two weeks, folks. Thank you to everyone who’s caught up over the hiatus, and to all of you who’ve been following along daily and patiently waiting. 

So. The cops are busted, the bar is trashed. M’gann’s the wrong shade of Martian and J’onn isn’t color blind. Maggie tried to beat the system, got sent on a Supergirl killing mission. Lillian’s a straight up bitch, but they finally have proof she’s head of Cadmus. Alex kicked Maggie’s ass to save it (while checking it out). Kara and Cat have been getting closer and closer, working those journalistic angles and leaning on in each other in new and interesting ways. They were about to fly home from the DEO when we checked on them last, right before Lillian kicked her next nefarious plan into gear. And that’s what you missed on Glee Supergirl Virtual Season.

So, here’s what to expect this week:

National City’s aliens are going on strike, while Cat and Kara take a trip to Metropolis. Maggie finds out her fate at the hands of the DEO and NCPD, while Alex deals with her feelings. When her loyalties are questioned, Lucy has to decide whether she steps up. M’gann believes her story ends here, now J’onn knows the truth. Is she right?

Favorite thing about creating?

The actual doing of it. There’s almost a kind of high when I dig into a project and it starts to come together, when I start to see the face or expression I’m trying for or when I figure out how to create an effect. It’s often weird little things that would shock people, but very gratifying.

What part of creating do you hate most?

See what I wrote above, the hate happens when all those wonderful things don’t happen and I have an image in my head, but what’s on the screen is nowhere near that. It’s beyond frustrating.

What inspires you to create something?

In fandom it’s mostly the desire to tell a story and/or get a bit inside someone’s head. Whether I’m writing or painting, I hope to make people stop, pay attention, maybe think a bit. As an artist, I also get fascinated by faces sometimes, just trying to figure out how someone’s bone structure works, their expressions and subtleties. It’s rarely the stunning beauties, more the interesting or very expressive.

Which ships do you love to create for?

Most recently Supercat, though I’ve enjoyed the Sanvers I’ve done for the VS. I’ve also played around with SwanQueen, Sam/Janet from SG1, Otalia, Buffy/Willow, Xena/Gabrielle and others. I bounce in and out of fandom and have for years, so it’s a pretty long list.

What drew you to the Supergirl fandom?

A fanfic honestly. I enjoyed the dynamic in it (it was Supercat). I’d watched the first few episodes of the show and been fairly frustrated, the fanfic got me to go back, Calista made me stay.

If you could have one Supergirl character in your life, who would it be and why?

Hmmm, as much as I love Cat, in real life, I would probably have to kill her, Kara and Alex both come with way too much adventure. Honestly, probably Winn. He’s sweet, would fix my old computers or build me a new one.

Tell us something random about yourself!

Well, since it just started raining, I’ll tell you, I love rain. Love the sound of it on the roof, or walking in it, or just standing in it and tipping my head back and letting it spatter on my face. One of my favorite things in the world is to go to the zoo whenever there’s a light summer drizzle. The weather cools off so it’s nice to be outside and the animals get playful and it breaks the heat and lightens my soul.

Alex led the team inside the rusted warehouse. It was dingier and more dilapidated than most hideouts their Fort Rozz escapees and other villains tended to pick. Agents flanked her on either side, guns drawn, search lights fixed to their tactical vests. Kara followed behind her, ready to throw herself in front of the group at a moment’s notice.

The smell of rotting flesh got more powerful as they proceeded. It was so pungent it made Alex gag. She stifled a cough against her arm, pausing briefly before signaling for them to keep going, adjusting the brace on her hand so she could grip her weapon more firmly. As they got closer, it became clear that this was a den of some sort, bones scattered across the floor, tattered rags acting as a makeshift bed and curtains. There were also newspapers, a toothbrush sitting in a putrid glass of water, bristles bent beyond repair, along with other items that would indicate a human had been living there. The excessive shedding and stench, however, told a different story.

“I thought werewolves only transformed in moonlight,” Kara whispered. “It’s not even dusk.”

“Maybe he’s something different.” Alex swallowed.

Well, @pinkrabbitpro​ has done it again. Alex, Lucy AND Cat? We’re truly getting spoiled. Previously on Supergirl Virtual Season… Cat had some demands to make of the DEO. Alex and Lucy took some convincing.

Tonight’s update! Act 3 begins...

Cat watched J’onn fuss with something on his tablet. It was nice to be in the fresh air again, even if she’d resisted the trip to this large balcony at first. With the view and the layout, it wasn’t so different from her own at CatCo. Her third day at the DEO was proving more challenging now that she felt fit to do more than be prodded for tests and sleep off her ordeal, tapping right back into her panic from being locked up.

“So how was your suite at Hotel Cadmus?” Cat asked. “If you got an ocean view, then I’m taking back my five star review on TripAdvisor.”

“It was noisy,” J’onn grumbled, setting the tablet down. The two agents Cat had insisted on – just in case – stood guard just inside the glass doors. Despite still being technically off-duty, J’onn wore his regulation black shirt and cargo pants. The only difference from the active agents was his lack of weaponry. “Ms. Grant–”

“It’s Cat. Once you share a kidnapper, there’s no need for formality. Even if I didn’t know you were there. Though I do remember you, from the trouble with Leslie and that Myriad mess. Agent Mulder, wasn’t it?” Even though Kara had since properly introduced them, Cat couldn’t resist the tease.

He frowned at the deliberate misnaming. “You pay more attention than people give you credit for, don’t you? Now about my powers, the ones you’ve requested I use on you.”
