My new resin basenji is baby pink transparent and BEAUTIFUL!! I'm still perfecting and learning the art of Resin sculpture ... This past week I’ve attended a workshop in Liencres, Spain. It’s been an intense course, with a total of 56 working hours. Atelier La Juntana, in collaboration with the Architecture Official College of Cantabria and the Polytechnic University of Madrid, was organising the workshop titled ‘Model Making in the Digital Age’ for architects and makers willing to investigate and discover different techniques and materials, while developing an architectural model. Not working within the field of architecture, the techniques and materials could easily be applied in other fields (like my own). I was mainly interested in working with various type of casting, where resin casting was clearly my favourite exercise. It’s such a sexy material! Can’t wait to use it in a different context! Examples to come! <3
