Competition winner
So after looking at the three submissions for the contest I have decided who won, but I’m going to give my opinion on everyone’s wonderful creatures first.
@a-beepbop chose to use the middle silhouette, which looked like a dripping ball with eyes, and turned it into a trio of mammalian creatures. It’s a pretty far departure from the silhouette, and while they’re all really cool, if beep didn’t say what silhouette they were based off of then I would have never known.
@ensyn-bin chose the first silhouette, and made it into two creatures who look like wheels with legs and a mouth (especially the second one). This is the kind of approach I was hoping people would take. It’s very obvious what silhouette they’re based off of, but they’re also distinct enough to look like real creatures! Well done.
And finally we have @pinkseraphuniverse. They chose the first silhouette, and oddly enough, all of their creatures are silhouettes themselves, but somehow they made it work! Pink also made a full set of creatures, which gave them those crucial extra points that ultimately allowed them to win the competition.
All of the submissions were wonderful and I thank all of you who participated!
