Cotter Pyke, Night’s Watchman, commander of Eastwatch-by-the-Sea, was a candidate for Lord Commander but Sam convinced him to support Jon instead. Sent to Hardhome on the mission to save the wildlings there, per a letter sent to Jon he’s having a really hard time with wights in the woods and in the water, fate unknown.

There’s an excellent selection of meta on this topic on asoiafuniversity under their direwolves tag. (And possibly more under the name of each direwolf.)  It’s the same on my blog, but such meta is way overwhelmed by fanart I’m afraid (you might find more faster with /tag/chrono though), so A-U is probably the best source for you.
