i got a frame for them to stay in

it took about an hour! the process was very comfy and calming for me

the writing is my favorite part and was the idea that inspired this whole thing ٩(^ᗜ^ )و ´- so i'm very happy to see people enjoy it!!

full sentences were written first, thoughts and questions neat and orderly across the page. then came repeating short phrases and wishes, which started overlapping with previous words and each other. last were "please" (written everywhere), "i wish" (on the hat shadow) and "stay" (at the bottom). the way previous words faded, leaving the final pleas most legible ... hehe

here's another picture of the fella in the frame with my lamp light reflection aimed directly at their face (i got black tape for the exposed paper edges later) and a doodle of how i felt while painting (i danced to clown music and played deltarune while waiting for him to dry)

after i finished the painting, i immediately went and played sasasaap. the vibes there are so bad (/positive) it's incredible. awesome game. i think it's fun that i could be inspired by my own art to go play a game. it's usually the other way around

Not to sound like a decrepit, rambling corpse about it, but back in my day Word used to be a pre installed program that came with your computer, if you were running Windows.

No subscription. Just program.

On your computer. You got to use it forever and ever and never had to worry about it going away.

Because it was physically on your computer. As a program. That you actually owned. Not because you got it separately, but because it was a standard inclusion with your computer.

I'm sorry but I'll just never get over it. I remember when companies cared about their products being usable out of the box. I remember when our things belonged to us.

I understand the desire/idea behind this post, but Windows never came bundled with Word. If it came with your computer that means the place that built your computer pre-installed it for you, and was included in the cost. It came bundled with Wordpad, which it still should, but the fact how hard Word subscription is pushed, to not truly own what we pay for, is never what we wanted.
