AU where Pip and Lex are buddy cops instead of Androxus and Lex. Idk I was bored.

send me an AU and i’ll tell you 5 of my headcanons for it 

Pip is given a choice: aid Lex in hunting down a notorious crime ring or go to prison.

He accepts, of course. It’s better than rotting in prison (or constantly escaping from prison) and the cop looks aghast at having to work with a criminal-- and a high profile one, at that!

Pip makes it his personal goal to get Lex to loosen up. Since he lost his partner, he’s been burying himself in his work... which would be fine, but it seems like it’s the only thing that keeps him going.

The first time Pip saves his life, Lex realizes that Pip isn’t actually a bad person and has to confront what he’s been taught his whole life.

The first time Lex saves Pip’s life, they go out for drinks after, and Lex makes the realization that for the first time since Androxus left his life, he’s actually living-- not just mechanically going through the motions. And it’s all Pip’s fault.

Pride Month Pip headcanons:

- Pip absolutely LOVES going to anything involving Pride. It gives him a chance to truly shine in something other than alchemy. He always gets a special outfit tailored just for these occasions. The outfit usually has a chicken somewhere on it under a rainbow, with a rainbow belt.

- Pip's first experience during Pride Month when he came out of the closet was one of his favorites. He was with Lex at the time and happily sat on his much taller dream boyfriends shoulders. He went home with a smile on his face and a much happier heart.

More Pip headcanons babey!

-Pip always wanted to adventure, it was his dream as a kid. But he never knew how an alchemist like him could be an adventurer. Luckily he always gravitated towards the more odd alchemical practices. He had the know-how to make his own weapons and protection, so he set out as soon as he could, finding a small group, willing to help him through the marshes. One of these people Pip fell in love with, he was so nice, Pip wasn’t used to it so he assumed that the feeling was mutual. Sadly he was mistaken, the group of travelers happened to very bad (I might write something with that eventually)

-After he left the group, he was scared and alone, and in need of a friend. He had eventually gotten into a rough spot, where a few thugs, they would have killed him if it wasn’t for a lawman of the tribunal saving the small vulpin. Of course, with the gesture that Lex gave, Pip was quick to fall in love yet again. As the man helped him up, Pip thanked him, and asked where he was from. After hearing he was with the outer tribunal, Pip wanted to join up, but he soon found that he had a knack for stealth, and stealing instead of lawkeeping. He found out that he could possibly make a relationship off that.

-Pip joined up with the resistance shortly after the war had started, and he only really talked few people, but he made the best of that, those few being Talus, Cassie, Ying, Koga, and surprisingly Tyra.

PipxLex headcanons

-When Pip found out that Lex was a father, he wanted to meet the little guy himself. He's not the best with kids, but he tries his best to help Lex out.

-Lex will often reassure Pip that he loves him more than he loved his ex-wife (they're still friends of course)

PipxLex headcanons

Pip started to groom his fur more often in the first months of them being together, of course this slowed down because one time Pip asked Lex to brush his tail, and Lex enjoyed it, so every so often Lex and Pip will sit down and brush Pip’s tail.

Lex started sleeping without a shirt on when Pip and him began sleeping with each other, because Pip slept in just his underwear, and Lex finds Pip’s fur very soft. Soft enough to were he wouldn’t wear his silk pajama shirt. Pip hasn’t noticed this, but he is happy about it in the mornings.

Pip has always kept his relationship with Lex on the down-low, same with Lex, but recently Pip has been very vocal about him seeing someone. His friends kept asking who his boyfriend was, but he wouldn’t tell. The only person he’s told is Cassie, who is happy he finally found someone who makes him happy. Lex’s companions however, continue to think that he’ll stay single, despite him being in a happy relationship with Pip.
