I just want to congratulate the anon(s) that clocked that as soon as a Jam pic showed up, PN would be on her bullshit, because they were SPOT ON. WRT p&s, I’m Team Relationship Is Dying and She’s Clinging on But Sam’s Emotionally Clocked Out Ages Ago.

(And I’m not even a full jammer; but I’m an actress and I know sometimes you do develop intimate connections that transcend others and you get it all out on screen (or on stage in my case). So I do believe there’s some deep feelings between them, and maybe even a bit of horniness 🤭 but not that they act on it or would ever act on it)

Blog owner, I may say something that sets your blog on fire, but I am doing it in “good faith” as you put it, so I ask that you please post it.

I found this post by Pollyanon to be deeply concerning. I just wasn’t feeling like their relationship was much more than an arrangement—clearly they aren’t in deep romantic love or anything, but this anon kinda said something I didn’t want to admit— there’s a whole hell of a lot Pip is getting out of this “arrangement.” The way his homes, his connections, his family—OMG his family—was discussed is REALLY problematic. It’s almost as if the OP is trying to say “no matter what you guys think, she still has all of these things anyway, they don’t owe you an explanation” but what I really hear is: “Sam is never gonna claim her, and we know it, so we’ll assuage our hurt feelings by bragging on all the material things we get out of it, while he’s gone most of the year anyway.”

And if that’s all, I really think about it I feel more sad for both of them than anything. “That is not a life!” 😭

Anon, your comment was respectfully phrased and so, I’ll let it stand. Because it will rile people up, I still have to give you 🚒.

Let’s all keep in mind that Pollyanon doesn’t necessarily speak from Pip’s perspective, but from their own as a community blog participant.

Fellow Aussie here! The voting opened today for the AACTA's & Pip has submitted herself for best supporting actress for both The Newsreader & The Family Next Door. She is absolutely hungry for a career & using her relationship with Sam to sell herself. Sam is on the rise & everyone in Australia knows it. She is riding his coattails & is pushing for him to publicly acknowledge her as his girlfriend.

Thank you, Anon. I looked at this with fresh eyes and texted with @jamloustatfan and here’s what we came up with:

Pip and Sam are seated side-by-side in the audience; based on previous videos and pictures we already assumed they attended the event together.

There’s this tiny awkward moment around 2:22, when Sam tries to be a gentleman and let Pip move forward, but Pip, almost at the same time, tries to be deferential to Anna as the lead to gesture for her to go. Anna is hesitant, and then Michael is like forget this and steps ahead of everybody and keeps going LOL We agreed that Sam and Pip are both being gracious here. The whole thing it just landed oddly, no one’s fault.

On stage, it’s harder to see what is going on because the camera is too far away and cuts away too quickly to really allow us to really take in an interaction. 😔 She does think it is telling that when folks lined up onstage that they made room for Pip and Sam to stand next to one another with Anna on his other side. It feels like a subconscious pecking order and that their costars recognize a relationship.

There are 2 or 3 quick moments when we get to see Pip show some cute expressions of excitement/happiness and one where looks at Sam (3:02-3:03) and they smile at each other. The look is very similar to the look each previously gave to the person on the other side of them. Pip’s body language is a fraction more “personal.”

The opportunity is so disappointingly short, we don’t get to see much. 😩😩 But for the moment we did see, we agreed that it’s giving “look at what we did together (collectively)” cuteness.

Before re-reviewing this video, we both already felt it wouldn’t be hard to persuade us that at the time this video was posted (Feb 10, 2024) they might be involved in a romantic or lavender pairing (I know a lot of us still don’t agree on what that looked like at its height—even JamLoustatFan and I have differing opinions).

I’m sorry Pollyanon, I have to stop you here. Usually I express baseline assumptions that anons post. Here, it seems you are insinuating that they are married. What evidence do you have to support that claim?

Here, you talk about “influential people” associated with Sam, his “residences” and travel to his filming gigs. It feels very much like you are insinuating that she has a right to access his career? In all my years, I have never heard of an actress asserting such a claim on her “partner.” Thank you for clarifying the importance of these things in context of their alleged “relationship.”

OK, I got another post from anon that has multiple parts in it that I have to break up so please bear with me as I try to respond to each part, I’m gonna call this person Pollyanon.

Anon, the number one topic on this blog is the fact that Philippa continues to push to make her relationship public, despite her alleged partner’s desire for it to be private. This issue is SO PUBLIC that it has generated 800 posts in less than a week. So it’s not so much about the general public needing to know, it’s about the fact that there is a discrepancy in the way that this pair is interacting and that is creating curiosity and literally distracting from our ability to focus on Sam’s work product. If Philippa and Sam had been on the same page and private, the public would have 0 interest.

The question is why is it important for Philippa to build a connection with people that Sam works with? Is she unable to make her own connections? Networking is an excellent thing to do and she should always be working on that, but I’m sorry to say that the only career where an Instagram follower list is a measure of professional success, is an influencer. I’m genuinely confused by the logic you are expressing with regard to the jobs, can you clarify this point?

I think everyone on this blog feels like it would definitely change something for them… AND us.

You have in your comment another statement with regard to the Reid family that I will post separately. Thanks for your understanding. I appreciate your willingness to dialogue.

I don't know how this works, but shouldn't PN live in london since she joined this agency? I took a look and most of their actors and actresses are british and live in the UK

No. Sam was a part of this agency for years and was living in Australia, when the call came in for an audition for IWTV. I’m sure she probably has like an address where her mail goes in the UK; could even be her agent’s office.
