Pippin is the proudest hobbit in the shire to have such a tall, beautiful partner
Shows you off at any chance he can, a constant bragging to other people, consistently saying "that's my lass, the tall one over there with the radiant smile"
He is always trying to make himself your height to kiss you so you don't have to bend down, such as standing on a high rock or on his tip toes as you bend down
But loves it when you shift his chin up and kiss his lips, makes him blush furiously
But he does prefer to 'meet you halfway', and even one time made some shoes that had very high sole so he could reach you somewhat
He absolutely loves when you wrap your arms around him from behind, making him feel like the safest hobbit in the world
And just being covered and protected by you? omg he could melt, and drags you back against him to you move away
And also encourages you to pick him up when you hug him, and he can wrap his legs around your waist and snuggle his face into your hair
Also for some reason he reminds me of those penguins that bring the pebbles to their partners, so he always brings you some fun thing he found
Sometimes it's a pretty jewel, or a amazing flower, or a smelly frog
Also HIS space is in your lap
No matter where you are, if you sit down with your legs crossed, he will be there, planting himself on top of your legs
Very natural for him, where you sits, he sits
At parties where he (always) drinks a little too much, he finds himself in your lap with his arms around your shoulders and his face snuggled into your neck as he snores loudly
At this stage you just stand up with him in your arms and carry him home
Also insists that he is the dominant one, like always initiating holding your hand or kissing your cheek, or pulling out your chair when you go to sit
Which is cute, but a funny sight for onlookers
When you're at home and you say something like "i'm so cold", he will do anything to get you happy again
Running around and grabbing every blanket in the hobbit hole to throw over you
Cuddling up to you and rubbing his hands along your limbs to warm you
And will brag SO badly to Merry, Sam and Frodo
They would never hear the end of you, and Pippin would constantly relate you to everything

“Just please - sit still, touch nothing.” You warned Pippin while starting to collect some twigs for a fire to help you get through the night. You were sent on a mission with the young Hobbit away from Gondor, and it was proving to be a disaster.
He had already gone through half of your food stores, had managed to fall into a river and soak his clothes, and when he trod ahead so you could keep a better eye on him, he pushed forward a branch that whipped back and caused a cut on your face.
For each of these things he apologized and gave you his ‘oops’ smile and you ended up forgiving him each time. The green eyes mixed with those curls were too adorable for you to be mad at.
“Sit and touch nothing! I can do that.” You watched as he sat down on a fell tree and crossed his large feet in front of him. Every couple of minutes, you looked at him over your shoulder to make sure he wasn’t causing any mischief.
As you were arranging the branches to start the fire, you felt something hit your shoulder. The smell reached you before the heat burnt a hole right into your cloak. “PIPPIN!” You roared, turning on him to see that he had his pipe overfilled with smoking pipeweed, and some had fallen onto your shoulder as he looked to see what you were doing.
“SITTING AND TOUCHING NOTHING!” He yelped, running back to sit on the tree.

Pippin treats physical affection as a natural part of conversation
You cannot go anywhere without him bumping your shoulder, poking you sides or tugging at your sleeves to get your attention

Does not understand it when people do not like it, because to him it is his primary way to show someone that he loves them
Like if you sit down together to eat dinner, he always chooses to sit right next to you, rather than across you or any other distance away
Because in this spot he can push his knees against yours and leant against your shoulder
Him holding your hand is second nature to him
And when he greets you after a long few days of being apart, he runs and throws his entire body weight onto you
Always has you staggering on your feet, and there's been times where you've fallen backwards with him on top of you laughing
B - Best Friend

Loyal to the core, once you have him as a friend, he will not leave your side through thick and thin
You love having him around because he brings laughs and good nature to every situation, no matter how dark or scary it may be
He always gets you involved in the devilish plans that him and Merry cook up, despite your protests
"You're being a bore Y/N, come help us steal Gandalf's staff!"
Also just hangs out in your house
He doesn't need to be invited or anything, he just walks in and makes himself at home
At times you've woken up to him making cookies in your kitchen and he acts like nothing is out of place
He shares everything with you, whether it be a snack or clothes or secrets because he runs his mouth about Hobbiton gossip he's heard
C - Cuddles
He is not self conscious about his cuddles with you
Will flop down and drape himself over you, no matter where or in what position you are
Even if you groan and complain underneath him, he will ignore you and just laugh at your struggles, getting offended at you calling him heavy
They are casual and spontaneous, always happening when you're curled together under a blanket in front of the fire
Or when you're sitting outside on a warm day in the flower fields near your house
He loves the physical closeness to you, it makes him feel a lot more connected and in love
Sometimes he will drag you to bed early, especially if he's tired, so he can cuddle up to you and drift off
Since you had started dating, he had found it hard to go to sleep without your arms wrapped around him
Or on his back rubbing circles along his skin

Pippin is young and very much dreams of adventure and excitement, so his desire to settle down does not come easy
He would need a lot of coaxing to truly settle, and a very strong sense of safety within you
But also would have his adventurous personality still, so he would go well if only you shared that desire with him too
Home skills, such as gardening, caring for the goats, and cleaning came very naturally to him
But his kitchen skills, that's a very different story
He would have the enthusiasm, no doubt of course, but the skill? girl where
You sometimes would enter the kitchen to find that he's left a complete mess, while he quickly flips through the recipe book to try and found where he went wrong
"What kind of flour bomb hit this place?" "...I was trying to make red velvet cupcakes."
Your domestic spaces with him are not ever very clean, but they are homey and having them that way gives them a 'pippin' charm of chaoticness
You actually have to make chores competitive in order for Pippin to do them efficiently, like whoever can dust the most shelves gets to choose what you eat that night for dinner

Pippin is not naturally confrontation and tends to hide behind the bigger person, so he does it very awkwardly and nervously
A very strong guilt of hurting you would over take him and it would take months to muster up the courage to break up with you
He however is very honest, and he would try his best to completely speak his mind while also remaining considerate of your emotions
He lets small jokes slip in to ease the tension, but they are all delivered with tears running down his eyes and a runny nose
Would want to do it alone after a day out with you
Sees it as a time to last enjoy each others company as a couple, but he feels bad throughout the day like he's pulling your strings
He would be so insistent that he wants to remain friends, hoping that you can at least maintain some kind of relationship, because he wouldn't be able to stand losing you completely

Pippin loves the idea of a long-term partnership with you, but he doesn't outwardly express it
It is a awkward topic for him, due to his age, as he does not think about marriage for a while
But it is definitely something that he thinks of every now and then, mainly when he's laying awake at night, and he imagines what it would be like to be your husband one day
He does take time to open up about it, but once he has settled, he is fiercely loyal
Utterly devoted, protective and attentive to your needs
With this would come him wanting you to be involved in everything that he experiences
Like even gets upset if you say no to going on a walk with him, saying that he doesn't want you to miss out

Pippin's touches can be rough, but only because he gets overexcited
But always is very apologetic if he ever accidentally hurts you, which does happen quite a bit
You had to tell him that catapulting on top of you when you're lying in bed is not the idea of a relaxing end of day activity in your mind
In terms of emotional, he is very gentle and considerate
He has a teasing and naughty personality, but he is always thinking of your feelings and makes sure not to cross your boundaries
Like when he's making fun of you tripping over a goose that ran in front of you, and he runs over to check on you before he bursts into laughter when he knows you're okay
He is also a very patient listener, never judging you when you rant to him and actually likes it when you're ranting about someone from town (he likes Hobbiton town tea)
H - Hugs
So spontaneous and very frequent
You do not make it through the day without being hugged a million times my him
He does not find the need to wait for an occasion, if he wants to hug you he will just do it
Sometimes it'll be in the middle of conversations, or when you're walking past him in your house, or when you're reading outside and he just runs out, gives you a hug and kiss then runs back inside
Shocks you a lot of the time cause they are very random
More intimate hugs, on the couch or in bed, are always paired with tickles, nuzzles from his nose and roughhousing
But he gets competitive so you always end up pinned while he cheers in victory and laughs at you
If you or him have had a hard day, he gives you even more hugs, getting all protective over you
But he always finds them as the ultimate comfort
Your scent, your skin, your voice, your heartbeat and your shared house all in one moment? He cannot get enough

Pippin is very quick to feel love for you, but he takes his time to say it
Can be a little compulsive though, and at times he feels the urge to say it, even when you haven't been together long
He would probably say it casually, like slipping it into a conversation without bringing much attention to it
Feels himself relax SO much when you say it back, also just as casually
Like you'd be at home one morning while he brews the teapot

After that he would kinda get obsessed with saying it

Pippin does not get very jealous often, but when he does, it always comes across as a mocking, playful tone rather than aggressive or silent
Usually nudges and makes a stupid comment towards the person that's getting a little close to you, keeps the conversation light while also sending the message
A smile or hand on his back from you is enough to reassure him, and he gives you a toothy, goofy grin back
Sometimes he will exaggerate his jealousy for fun, like pouting and whining about another man being all over you at the hobbit party
"He was eyeing you up all night! How could I ever cope!" *dramatic faint onto the bed*
He's confident in his relationship with you, he's literally a Took, his cocky and confident nature is in his blood
His jealousy only comes from times of care for you and wanting to keep the attachment he has, but no ever really out of insecurity
K - Kisses
Very similar to his hugs, very spontaneous and frequent
Quick pecs on the cheek before running off, on your head when he's walking past while you sit at the table, on your nose when you're brushing your teeth in the bathroom and he's come in to join you
Endless and very cute, but only gives you deeper kisses in private and in more intimate moments
Like if you're upset about something, he will pepper your face in kisses before planting his lips on yours deeply
Makes you nearly forget what you were upset about
Also kisses you when you're kind of mad at him
Like when dogs smile and get all friendly when they've done something wrong

When he's around kids, he loses his mischievous personality and suddenly becomes an older brother figure

They all really like him because he tells them jokes, but they do tend to pick on him sometimes
His younger age makes him an easy target for some of the hobbit kids, so he is usually the butt of their jokes if they get to chance
Once you came outside to find him hanging up in a net in the tree
"The hell happened to you?" "Those little devils they are! I'll chase them down, just cut me out of here babe... please."
As much as they cause him trouble, he gets very protective over kids
Like always puts himself in front of them if he senses something isn't right
M - Morning
Mornings with Pippin are slow, relaxing and lingering
You tend to hide in the blankets from the sun, but he is not one to hang in bed all day
Once he's fully awake, he taps and tickles you to wake you up
Repeating your name over and over like an annoying alarm clock
He really enjoys sharing breakfast with you, thinking it is a perfect start to your day together
But he's halfway through his breakfast when he starts thinking about second breakfast, and you have to remind him to focus on enjoying his food now
Casual affection, hand-holding, hair-brushing, sleepy cuddles, heads on shoulders, is essential to your morning routine
He does not remain sleepy, once he's awake he is awake, so he is ready to chat first thing
Which sometimes drives you insane if you're still half asleep, but he just laughs at your clueless blinks after he's asked you the same question three times with you still not hearing him
He always encourages you to go for a short wander with him to the morning markets, or come out with him to feed the goats
N - Night
He keeps his playful, energetic behaviour even when winding down for the night
But you notice his eyes droop and his voice start to drag out more and he takes longer to respond to you
Gets all affectionate when he's tired, letting his head drop into your lap and humming to himself as you run your hands through his curls
He gets demanding for your affection, even rolling on his stomach and asking that you scratch his back
And then huffs and turns to glare at you when you stop
So you roll your eyes and continue, enjoying pampering your sassy boyfriend
He likes to enjoy a beer at the end of the day with you, but every now and then he can have one too many and you're pulling him to bed while he's hysterically laughing at a joke you told 10 minutes ago
Before you go to sleep, when you're spooning him, you guys talk about your days and the future, until you hear his soft breaths slowing into unconsciousness

Pippin is very chatty and friendly, so telling people about himself and the shire comes naturally
This was the same for you, you knew a lot about him and his family before you were even dating
He is more secretive about personal struggles and deeper emotions, but he is quick to open up to you when you are together
He likes to be transparent, and finds a lot of comfort in talking about his feelings rather than bottling them up
When you ask him if he's okay, he answers directly and truthfully, but he may sneak in some light humour to make the conversation not as heavy
He has a natural warmth to him that makes people happy to open up to him, even if they don't really know him
And he likes that he has a partner that he feels the same way towards

Pippin is not one quick to anger or frustration, he tends to laugh of general annoyances to keep himself level

Pippin remembers a lot of little details about you, even if he pretends at first to have no clue
He often asks you to quiz him on facts about you so he can prove how much he knows about you
But embarrasses himself when you ask a question that he just can't remember the answer to
But quizzes you back about himself and acts so offended when you can't remember something about him
But he tends to bring up very small things from the past, like he notices when you don't wear a certain hairstyle anymore
"What happened to that green plaid shirt you wore that one time? I really liked it."
However, you both have a lot of inside jokes from adventures, days out together and conversations, which he references a lot
But something he is an expert as is noticing when you're upset
It's like he knows you breath a different way when you're not happy, and he instantly knows

You both once got caught by the Gaffer when Pippin was trying to steal some of his ripe strawberries while you stood behind the fence trying to call him back
"Pippin! Don't! I can buy some for you to make shortcake!" "But these look really good! And they're free!"
You must've been a bit too loud because it wasn't too long before Hamfast Gamgee was running out the door of the house to yell at Pippin to bugger off who was deep in his garden
You both were legging it down the road away, trying to hide your laughter and catch your breath
You gave Pippin a playful hit when you notice him with at least ten strawberries tucked into the pockets of his vest
But yes you did still use them, as Pippin insisted

Pippin always makes sure to keep an eye out for you, but is not very intense about it
But if someone is giving you a hard time, he does not hesitate to step in, no matter whether they're a hobbit or a man
Or putting you behind him if someone is getting a little too close
You always find it very endearing, especially since he is not the biggest, scariest looking hobbit, and yet he is still so determined to protect you
He gives you subtle reassurances, like a warm smile or a light caress of your hand
And if you're uncomfortable with something or someone, he is removing you from the person and area as soon as he can to check on you privately
He always defends your honour when you're not there, not letting people talk badly about you in front of him
One time this got him laughed at by the older hobbits at the Green Dragon, but he did not care and poured a drink on the main perpetrater
That night you were scrubbing pastry flakes out of hair from the older hobbits retaliating
"Pippin, I don't want you to start fights over me." "They were talking bad about you! I had to do something."
T - Try
(How much effort do they put into anniversaries, birthdays, dates etc?)
Pippin gets VERY excited over these holidays
Will literally count down the days until your anniversaries and birthday, wanting to make them the most fun days of the years
You wake up to banners and your favourite meals on your birthdays, and sometimes he happens to snag some of Gandalf's fireworks that he tries to set off in the backyard with Merry's help later that night (much to your worry)
Because of his spontaneous plans for these days, they are sometimes not planned well and all over the place, but it is the effort and time that he has put into them that makes you swoon
He simply prioritises joy over perfection, with your enjoyment being the most important thing of the day
He is responsive to you, noticing what things you enjoyed or things you didn't enjoy and remembering it for next year
U - Ugly
(What are some bad habits of theirs?)
His mind goes a million miles an hour, and so he is impulsive and reckless at times
He sometimes does not think before he does something, leading to putting himself in danger or causing trouble
He also loses things very easily, misplacing them all the time
Like he borrowed your favourite mug once and he swears it just disappeared, having no idea where he must've placed it
Felt so bad that he made you another one, exactly the same
He is also incredibly clumsy and breaks things a lot
Whether it be windows, statues, plates or bowls, he's broken at least one of each of them at some point
V - Vanity
(Do they care about their looks?)
Pippin enjoys a little flair, but he is not overly cautious about his looks
Likes to look nice for you, but does not care too much if the situation is casual
But if you're going out to a date together, he does tend to dress up a little more
He puts on his favourite overalls and shirt, brushing them off and making sure they're not wrinkled or dirty
Gets all gushy when you compliment his looks, probably responding with an excited "really?"
He is confident in his looks without being arrogant about it, just wanting to look like the classic, charming hobbit he is
Although, he is only strict on one thing
He MUST have at least a splash of colour with his outfit, which you always notice
Whether it be his green scarf or a bright jacket, he does not mind, but he does like the colour
One time you bought him some bright rainbow pieces of clothing for his birthday and he was beside himself with joy
Wore at least one of them every day for months
W - Whole
(Would they feel incomplete without you?)
Pippin values your presence in his life immensely and feels as if everything is much livelier and happier with you
He understands that you are a part of his key happiness, whether that be your affection, your personality or even just you as a person
He always thinks about marrying that one person, and he feels so lucky to have found them so early in his hobbit life
He is okay when separate from you for a short time, but he does pout at the feeling of missing your skin, your affection and your kisses
He is a storm by himself, living life with happiness and chaos, but you amplify this in him, which makes it all the more fun
X - Xtra

Pippin has a very insane obsession with snacks
Like gets VERY protective over them, even with you
You always question how he can eat so many sweets and not ever gain weight
And one time you found a stash in the bedside drawer filled with cookies and cheese
You asked him about it and he acted like you had just walked in on him naked
"You found that! No! Now I have to share!"
Also, he loves singing at any chance he can get
In the kitchen, in the bath, in the garden
There is always some kind of chorus radiating around the house from him

Anyone overly serious with no sense of humour annoys him
Makes him think of them as miserable, so he would need a partner that is lighthearted and makes jokes during serious times to bring a sense of comfort
He also would not be a fan of a clingy or overbearing partner
He enjoys his freedom due to his adventurous and daring nature, and having someone discourage that because they are nervous or overprotective of him would not be nice
He wants his partner to be involved in his shenanigans rather than go against them
Also someone that lacks curiosity or a whimsical spirit
Would find people like that boring
So ultimately, he just wants someone fun that is willing to help him stir up shit

He sleeps in very strange positions
You go to sleep completely normal, with him tucked in your arms or yours in his
And you'll wake to him completely starfishing across the bed, sheets tossed and sideways, his pjs halfway off somehow and you being forced to the very edge of the mattress
Or sometimes he's tucked into a tiny ball in the centre of the bed, like a little tucked away, hiding possum
He is also incredibly hard to wake up
It is not likely you wake up before him, but if you do, you may as well give up before you even start
Literally you could shake him, yell in his ear, take all the blankets and pillows away and he still wouldn't budge
One time you genuinely got concerned, hoping he was okay, but you licked your finger and stuck it deep into his ear and he SPRUNG up
"What the hell Y/N?! I was sleeping!" "Really? I thought you were dead!"
Imagine living with Pippin in The Shire and he brings in a surprise pet one day.
You were finishing washing the dishes of your second breakfast with Pippin when he came back home. “Pippin, I’ve expected you to be gone for hours!” You said cheerfully. You wiped your hands on the dishrag and were about to go and greet him at the door when you felt something against your leg.
You let out a yelp and took a step backwards only to see what it was. A little black cat rubbed up against the wall beside you, petting itself on the moulding. “Pippin?”
The hobbit came into the room with a sheepish, bashful expression on his face. It was his way of saying sorry without actually voicing the words. “Rosie’s little cat had kittens! They needed homes so I took one!”
“Pippin.” You said, shaking your head. “Bless you and your kind little heart, if I can make a home for you, I can make one for this kitten too.”
Imagine Pippin being terrified of thunderstorms, and while traveling, the only way to calm him is for him to lay his head on your chest and listen to your heart beat.
