Absolutely! This little bit is from my Pirate!Zemo fic, Oh Captain, My Captain

Quite a crowd had been drawn down to the docks in the hour or so you’d been stuck there, chained to a post and sat on a bench as the proper officers gathered their things and cut down the last of the culled from the day before. They were already starting to stink. Thankfully for the gentile onlookers, the bodies were deposited in a cart and would soon be taken to whatever mass burial pit had been dug the quickest.
