Thinking about how Pope is the ideal partner to have a kid with. Walk with me here…

Pope already struggles with sleeping through the night, especially during moments of high stress or when there’s someone in the house he cares deeply for, so when he has a baby? Oh he’s not getting a wink of sleep at night.

Pope will stay up in the baby’s room watching over them the whole night. You get to sleep through the entire night, every night because Pope is on baby duty which means you heal faster, recover faster, and feel more like yourself quicker.

You wake up, confused and groggy, but well rested every morning to the baby’s laundry done, folded and put away in the drawers along with your own laundry done and put away. Everything is clean and tidy, spotless and shining and your confusion only mounts. Usually the day ends with the house in shambles and you promising to tidy up in the mornings.

You go to wake the baby, but the baby is up and in Pope’s arms as he does slow laps around the perimeter of the pool

Once you realize that Pope is pulling all nighters again, you make him sleep during the afternoons while the baby is down for their nap. You’ll coo at him that he can’t run on fumes, can’t be awake all hours of the night and day. You convince him to rest while you take care of things around the house, promising him that as soon as the baby is up you’ll wake him too.
