two weeks ago my family got a new cat! his name is Jean Lafitte, after the french pirate. hes 9 months old about <3

hes super sweet and when i saw him for adoption at my job i was really anxious because. the shelter sent us a black cat in OCTOBER. which is a big nono because you cant trust people. but luckily my family was getting prepared for a new family pet anyways <3

hes been getting along really well with marigold- there was hissing the first day but surprisingly it only lasted that one day. they will play and sit together and while i do make an effort to show marigold hes not been replaced and hes still MY main cat and lafitte more my dads, its been amazing. theyre already able to be unsupervised together
