“Are you saying you suspect me?” She meets his eyes with her own, their ruby color showing no signs of guilt or innocence. Her lips are turned up in a amused grin as she leans against the trunk of a tall tree, keeping to the shade to avoid any unwanted attention. “And here I thought you were better than that. Suspecting me only because of my status, how typical.”
“Wither I am apart of them or not, it makes no difference.” She stands up straight, shrugging. “Your people will continue to revolt until they get what they want. It’s what happens when one feels they are not being heard.”
“I understand being pampered and taken care of is not equal to ignorance.” The prince was smart, Kura was aware and had no doubts about it. He was also still willing to listen, a quality she liked. “I am also not blaming you for being brought up in such a comfortable manner. I came here to warn you out of goodwill, that’s all.”
