jesus christ. okay. i admit it. i got into genesis exclusively bc you and i watched prog britannia in like 2013 and i thought mike rutherford looked really good in it

okay wait... tell me ur reggie origin story.... how do i not already know this

so, there used to be this music service online that was essentially a humble bundle/storybundle vehicle for indie music. it was called sound supply. 10 albums for $15. it has tragically been shut down for many years, but it made such an impact on my music listening habits while it was around.

anyway, one of the supply drops had No Country for Old Musicians in it and that’s how i got into reggie! i never got into mcr or the get up kids, so i had no idea who james was. 

having listened to a bunch more reggie stuff since then, No Country feels like kind of a weird place to start but I kind of love it for that? i dunno! it got me! it got you! that counts for something! “37″ still makes me laugh!  "revenge” has one of the best niche choruses in the history of pop punk! “kanji tattoos” is so nice?? i’m so glad i spent $15 that one time!
