Orphne the forgotten

Orphne is much like water vapor, but even though she is subtle and shy, there is power burning behind her eyes. Any power she lacks physically, she makes up in magic. Saturn is the voice you question with, it’s pure curiosity with no thought of what the answers may bring. 

Orphne is another name for Styx, the river that runs in Hades domain. Being born in its water, Orphne has a dark affinity to magic, and a secondary to water.

Orphne has presence, even when you do not notice.

Hyades the light house

Hyades glows from the inside, not only with her personality — but physically. She’s bio luminescent, radiating a soft, warm glow from her tail that harvests sunlight from the morning before. Unlike most mermaids, Hyades has a wider frame, the light outline of muscles lightly protruding against freckled skin. Her tail is strong, which fairs her in long distance swims.

Naturally, Hyades is quite large in size; almost matching a small whale. Although she might be bigger, her movements are graceful, her swimming almost never disrupting the tide. Unless, of course, she wants it too. In human form, she appears shorter than the average lady — her wider frame unchanged. 

Although her voice is small, her personality is big. In her mermaid form, she doesn’t talk much. Her lungs to large to whisper to the smaller fish, but they trust her. When in human form, she talks as much as she can.

Meliae the drift wood

Meliae is a dreamer, though she doesn’t stray far from reality when making her decisions because although she isn’t afraid of dreaming, she’s afraid of failing. She’s afraid of disappointing herself. Meliae is a pessimist that takes things lightly. But when she gives, she gives with power. 

She is a sea elf/fae with magical powers, though they don’t do much. With a bright emerald tail, Meliae always found interest above the surface. Her hair is an ashy brown colour that ends around her chin, except for her wispy sideburns. Her flippers are almost transparent, making her tail look similar to an an eel’s in the darkness. 

Unlike the rest, Meliae is a land walker who uses magic to become a fish. Because of this, the Mer-people approach her with awe. But to them, Meliae is a circus attraction. They oo and ah but leave once the show is done. Because of this, Meliae is careful with her words. 

Meliae doesn’t know where she belongs, simply wondering where the tide will bring her next.
