This is one of my favorite shots of this movie and is actually what made me able to identify Orion in the sky

But it's also inaccurate!

See, Passover is, most famously, a spring event and what just transpired was supposedly happening at midnight. Now, during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II, the sun was in Aries during the vernal equinox, and would only move closer to Taurus as days passed. Taurus is, most notably, right in front of Orion, to the west of the hunter, which means that it shouldn't be in the sky at all!

The highest point of the sky at midnight of the Passover should be, maybe Libra?

I like Orion! He’s very visible in my area in the fall and winter and it always feels special when I start to see him on the horizon, like he’s bringing on the change of seasons. Also he’s got a snatched waist and looks like he’s kicking a soccer ball which is fun

I also vibe w the Big Dipper — I can always find it in the sky and I like that it points to the Little Dipper to help with navigation. Supportive big sibling energy, I’m here for it.
