Okay so fun(not really) story. Y'all should know by now that I do music for a living. I'm in pit right now and last night the mics just came in. I kept hitting it during the first act last night so I decided to maneuver around it. BAD IDEA. I hurt my back and when I decided to lie down I couldn't get back up. I have a lovely family who made me food and helped me take my meds(I take Benadryl for sleep in the summer because allergies suck). However, I'd like for this to not happen again and basically the moral of the is LET YOUR SOUND GUY KNOW THAT YOURE HITTING YOUR MIC BECAUSE YOU CAN AND WILL HURT YOURSELF. Thank you fellow musicians. I'm off.

I'm in the pit for The Music Man and holy fucking god WHY IS EVERYTHING IN CUT TIME AND 6/8. Also what up with there being so many sharps. I don't need seven sharps in my life.

opening night of Wiz of Oz went off without a hitch well a couple hitches like when the dog ran off the stage into the audience and the entire pit band (including myself) absolutely lost it and couldn't play for about 10 minutes it was so great :D

so we’re doing wiz of oz for the school play and the girl playing the wicked witch just hurt herself and no one knows what happened and they just pulled her understudy into the hall and are talking with her

and the understudy ain’t too hot.

oh and the shows Thursday. like two days from now Thursday
