Alright, it's time for me to yap violently about Pitfall now that the trailer is out. I'm gonna avoid spoilers but understand due to panic fest I have seen the film already before it's out and some things may slip that give away a little extra information. Please don't read if you want to stay guessing about everything.
I'll start by characters, explaining who they are by appearance that way you know.
Scott- he's the main guy, dirty blonde hair and the white under shirt and blue open shirt. Scott's got a lot of fortitude, a strong guy with a kind heart but still knows when to put his foot down on things. He's charismatic in that regard, but has his moments where he's human and let's his insecurities and flaws get to him. He's very well portrayed by his actor, and his clothing design helps reflect that personality of strong but able to crack mentally.
Ashley- I thought putting Scott's sister next would be fitting. She's the brunette who wears a white shirt and has a plaid shirt around her waist. Ashley is the opposite of Scott, her emotions make her restless and insecure. She is like a broken glass being held together by tape when what she needs is glue. Ashley has her reasons for this though, so when watching be patient with her.
Charlie- I kinda just wanna get him out of the way now. Charlie has the messy brown hair and the blue plaid shirt on. Charlie is on the more abrasive end, but it comes from a place of conern and care. He's aloof, but not in a way meant to be rude or spiteful, it's meant to build up those walls to make him seem strong. It comes off as dickish because of his wording and body language, be patient with him too as he also has his reasons.
Gwen- she's the dirty blonde with blue eyes and the deep blue vest. Gwen has this soft caring vibe to her, she is more patient with everyone and a support for Ashley. Though when needed she will make her thoughts known and make sure she is heard. She's a sweetheart who speaks her mind and I really like that about her. She's strong, and balanced between sweetheart and resilient fairly.
Lars- it's not a Richard role if he's not being sassy 24/7, and trust me when I say there is no off button here. Lars is the comedic one of the group, and where everyone has their balance, Lars is that one guy who has to try tipping the scales just to see what will happen. Lars pushes everyone's buttons, challenges their confidence, and finds every little tick that makes them just that more irked at him. He's funny though, not just a prick, and he does care a lot despite his behavior.
