March 24, 2023 Said goodbye to the friends and Moab, Utah, and drove through sun, snow, hail, clouds and rerouted to get to Sedona, Arizona. Same but different riding terrain, totally well worth the 6.5 hour drive here. Demo’d the Pivot Trail 429, with those 29’ wheels. She’s a heavier bike with wider and thicker handlebars than I’m used to but the smooth downhills make for fun rolling ledges and steps and chunky bits and the uphill I’m able to climb over and floss through most of the ascents.
